Boots UK launches its first ever Faceless Beauty campaign, celebrating self-expression and individuality

London, August 29th, 2018: Boots UK today launches its first ever Faceless Beauty campaign, celebrating the bigger role that beauty plays in day-to-day life.

The new campaign aims to shed the norms and pressures of the beauty industry by creating the first beauty campaign from Boots UK not to focus on faces, but simply showing real people and focusing on body language that shows us how beauty makes them feel, only revealing the faces behind the movement right at the end.

To bring this to life, Boots UK has partnered with a diverse group of people to support the ‘It’s How It Makes You Feel’ campaign. From a Boots UK colleague, to a double leg amputee, and beauty influencer, Em Ford, the brand’s ‘first of its kind’ TV ad shares their unique, individual views on beauty and celebrates how it makes them feel.

Michelle is a No7 advisor from Boots in Northwich, who was selected to take part in the ad campaign as a real woman and mother, who feels strongly about the message that Boots UK is trying to tell. “I’m proud to be part of what Boots is doing today. I love the ethos of how Beauty makes us feel, rather than just how it makes us look. I have two daughters and to think that I am part of something that will actually strengthen them as young women, as they grow, to help them feel more confident in themselves and not to try to become someone else, I love that, that makes me proud,” says Michelle. “What I do to help me feel good, is put on a bit of lipstick, and dance!”

Michelle Cash Northwich Boots Store Manager, has said, “I’m extremely proud and excited that Michelle was chosen to star in the advertisements for Boots UK new campaign. Michelle was the only employee in the country to get through from Boots and we’re thrilled that they recognised her passion for the brand and individual flare.”
