The Primary Schools’ Art Trail has returned to Northwich and will run throughout the town until Monday 11th March.

Schools from the Northwich area were invited to create paintings and three dimensional work inspired by children’s literature and the artwork is now being displayed in shop windows across the town centre.

As with the 2018 project, each school taking part was invited to produce two pieces of art from Years 2 and 4 and a leaflet has been produced detailing the participating schools and the shop where each item of artwork is being displayed.

The shops have been listed in the order that people will meet them when they walk the trail if they start at Jack Gee Cycles near to The Plaza, before walking through the town all the way to Curtain Magic next to the Bull Ring.

On top of this, the schools have also been invited to exhibit their work at Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse gallery during June, July and August later this year where people will have the chance to take a look at all of the pieces in one central location,

The initiative has once again been organised by Visual Arts Cheshire who wish to thank participating schools and businesses alongside Northwich Art Shop, Northwich Business Improvement District and Cheshire West and Chester Council who have supported the project.
