Travelling by Car

Positioned just off the A556 Northwich has brilliant road links, especially if you’re commuting.

The M6 and M56 are less than 20 minutes’ drive away, perfect for getting up to the Lake District or down South and the A55 to Wales is less than half an hour away too.

Chester, Manchester and Liverpool are also under an hour away.

And if you fancy a trip to the beach you can get to the Wirral and North Wales in under 60 minutes too – there’s so much to do and see with little travelling time involved!

Travelling by Bus

The town is served by a number of public buses, enabling you to get around Cheshire with ease.

Travelling by Train

Northwich has its very own station which sits on the Mid Cheshire Line.

From there you can head up to Stockport and Manchester to the North East and Chester to the South West.

The line takes in places of interest such as Delamere Forest and the thriving market towns of Knutsford and Altrincham.

Being able to access Manchester and Chester means you can easily catch a connecting train to the major cities of Birmingham and London too.

Situated a few minutes’ drive from Northwich is the village of Hartford. Here you can catch trains direct to Liverpool Lime Street and Crewe.

Travelling by Water

The town of Northwich sits at the confluence of the Rivers Weaver and Dane; perfect if you’re looking to explore the local waterways and beyond.

You can also access the Trent & Mersey Canal from the Weaver at the Anderton Boat Lift, giving you access to mile upon mile of waterways in the North West of England.

Travelling by Plane

Manchester Airport is a mere 30 minute drive away from Northwich so if you’re a jet-setter you’re well placed.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is just under 45 minutes from the town too so you have a great choice of airports on your doorstep.
