Santa Clause himself has kindly agreed to visit us this year to wish the children of Northwich a very merry Christmas! He’s even gathered all of his elves together to organise a special party for us all. There will be craft making, ginger bread decorating, delicious food, amazing entertainment and even fairground rides!
You’ll also be able to ride our very own Christmas Express Train in Barons Quay.

As the night draws in our historic streets will be lit up as The School Lantern Parade makes its way through the town. But the best is yet to come…┬áThis magical day will come to an end with the famous Light Switch On and mesmerising Fireworks display at 5pm by the Library!

FESTIVE Family FUN Activities!

Your whole day will be filled to the brim with festive fun at this year’s Extravaganza!

You’ll enjoy balloon modelling, face painting, glitter tattoos, gingerbread making, crafts, mosaic making and fairground rides just on the High Street itself! Not only this, but the children can also go bauble hunting to win a tasty chocolate treat in this year’s Christmas Bauble Trail.

Barnton Circus will also be performing at Barons Quay, as well as the Christmas Express Train and the Balloon Nativity and Outdoor Pizza truck!

Food will also be available from stalls across the whole of the town centre and from Waitrose where Bostock Band and various School Choirs will be bringing a whole load of festive cheer!

The Perfect Christmas Night

We suggest ending the night with a walk through town as The School Lantern Parade takes to the streets and finish off watching the much-anticipated Light Switch On and Firework show at the Library’s steps!

Don’t forget to visit Santa at his Grotto on Witton Street; he will be there all day so you can tell him what you’re wishing for this Christmas!
